The series is going to be a comprehensive series of mixes chronicling the birth of Hip Hop and it's eventual emergance into Electro Funk, Techno-Rap, Freestyle, Miami-Bass etc. It will mainly concentrate on the pioneers and relativly unknown artists and tracks that seem to have been forgotten about and well as the well know singles.
I've been collecting this stuff since the beginning so hopefully I can bring something new to peoples ears as well as some gems you may not have heard for a while. It's something I should have done a long time ago and I'm mainly doing it for myself and my friends who grew up listening to this music back in the early 80's.
